"Taking it easy"

After a five hour drive from Clear Lake to Ames and then Ames to Overland Park, Kansas, I'm finally sitting in the comfort of my Sheraton hotel room with wrinkled fingers and toes (from the tub). FarmHouse formal was fantastic - the food was gourmet, the help was cordial, and I was in the company of the most beautiful woman at the dance. It was definitly worth the long, rainy drive and the c-notes I dropped on dinner, a room, and gas. Ronda and I ordered pizza after the dance - it's the first time (that I can remember) that I've taken advantage of room service. It was quite tasty, but the presentation is what made it soooo delicious. They pretty much just brought the whole table up to our room so it was like eating in the restaurant. What a perfect way to end a great night.

But it wasn't a great night - it was a fantastic one. A fantastic night has to end with a nice warm bubble bath and the comfort of a huge pillow top bed - which is calling my name right now actually.
