charlesroper.net goes on a diet

No worries - my site isn't counting its carbs like the rest of the world. It is, however, slimming down the size of its media content with no loss in quality (if that's not true, please let me know). In other words, I realized that a lot of the pictures on the site (including the banner) contain a lot of unnecessary data such as when the pic was taken and with what camera. That info makes the pictures noticeably larger in size and also increases their download time. So, I decided to trim it up a bit and make this site a little more dial-up user friendly. Tell me what you think. You'll definitely notice a difference in the photos section. Check it out.

That was just a small task that I managed to complete today. I also helped my grandma clean out her water damaged basement. I swear a friggin' tornado came through there at one point. And a special tornado too. Like one that contained a link to the 1960's and droped off a bunch of useless crap and then proceeded to thrash it about.

I'm looking forward to possibly golfing tomorrow at Oak Hills. I've been waiting for this since . . . a long time.

My grandpa's maze, Fort Custer Maze, recently got a new air castle. You know - one of those things that you always see little kids jumping around in at the carnival or state fair. I haven't seen it yet, but word on the street is that it's pretty keen. Can't wait to try it out. I'll get some pictures of it posted when I visit the maze in the near future.
