Let's start with today. I will post about my Christmas and even publish a new photo album later this week - I promise!
After a series of unfortunate computer related events (which will be detailed at a later time), Ronda and I cooked a gourmet meal out of my grandpappy's very own home-grown potatoes.
We then met up with my sister, Ginny, and her b/f, Michael, at our nearest Cinemark theatre for some wholesome entertainment - "Meet the Fockers." It was a good sequel.
After the flick, we headed back to my place. I felt special when Ginny & Michael presented us with a bottle of Korbel champagne; with which Ronda & I will be ringing in the New Year this weekend. We enjoyed their company for a few hours as we took part in a friendly game of Hoopla and watched the Sein on DVD.
Lessons learned from today:
1.) The Best Buy "Geek Squad" is little more than a small group of "special" kids who know NOTHING about the inner workings of the piece of equipment that I am using at this very moment. (and "special" is not good)
2.) Never call CompUSA to check on computer part availability.
3.) If milk smells funny, don't drink it.
