I'm really sorry, internet people, but I've been REALLY busy lately. I have this perfect new site design, even mapped out, but I have NO time to implement it! I barely have time to post. This semester, I have full days of class on Tuesdays and Thursdays and I work at Championship Productions on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
The good news? I'm really busy with things that I really like! I'm working on my first news package this weekend so that's pretty fun. If I can get everything to work out right, I will post a webclip of my first news package on my website soley for your enjoyment.
Also, my work with Championship is incredibly rewarding - I can't wait to see what's in store.
On top of all of that, my small business was approved by both Story County and Ames this past week so OmniScene Studios can start taking orders . . . now! I'm working on planning out a strategic business plan and slowly but surely collecting capital for it. If you have any interest in investing in a small film company based out of Ames, IA - email or call me :)
Intramural ice hockey prelims are now over and the "real" games begin. So far we're 1-1. It's single elimination from here on out. I'm not sure when our next game is, but if our teamwork is anything like it was this week, we're guaranteed a win. There's absolutely possitively nothing better than going to class from 9am to 9pm and then playing ice hockey at 1:30am the following morning.
Any free time that I have had this semester, I've been spending working (building from the ground up) Ronda's new website. It was my first time ever working with server side includes so needless to say, it was a learning experience.
Oh, and I'm also building a new video serving/programming computer for ISUtv this week. So that'll take up some more free time.
In other news, Ronda and I booked airline tickets for a trip to Orlando in the near future. We'll be staying in Kissimee, FL for a while enjoying the magic of Disney World and the comfort of a "Royal Crown" resort (courtesy of my parents).
And that's all - for now.
