What a busy, busy week. I'm done with school for a while and am expecting some pretty impressive grades for this semester. I got A's in all of my journalism classes which makes me a very happy man. I'm spending more of my time now working for Championship - authoring DVDs, making web clips, etc. In fact, I leave for Mississippi Thursday morning to shoot some basketball footage at a 3-day Nike clinic. Should be a good time.
I'm looking forward to getting the newest PowerMac G5 to edit some videos this summer. Assuming my production manager gives me the final go-ahead this next week, I should have that baby within the month.
Ronda's been a Netflix customer for over six months now. She graciously gave me my own account not too long ago which means that I get to order 1 out of every 3 DVDs that we receive from Netflix. We used to get an average of 3 DVDs a week because the nearest shipping center was in Kansas City.
Within the past two weeks however, a new shipping center opened up in DES MOINES! Because of its incredibly close proximity, we now get about 6 DVDs every week. That means we'll start getting about 24 DVDs every month for only $18.00. What a deal. Less than a dollar per DVD and we never have to drive to the video store - it's basically overnight delivery which, in my opinion, makes it more convenient than renting from a local place.
I'm redesigning the Fort Custer Maze website and am pretty proud of my new design. I'll make a post when the new design is complete - so make sure you check that out when the time comes.
