Good Eatin'

I'm full. I've eaten better this past week than I have in a very long time. As stated in my previous post, I went to Kentucky for work and I ALWAYS eat well on shoots due to generous per diem. I shouldn't give exact numbers, but let's just say that they provide me with enough cash to eat at nice restaurants and fall asleep with a full stomach.

When I arrived home, I started making masters for the four basketball videos I'm working on now. It's been a lengthy process but I always seem to find the time to reward myself with a nice meal from many of the fine establishments in Ames.

My cousin, Colton, came to Ames on Wednesday and is staying with us for a few days. So, of course, we must eat out for nearly every meal because we have yet to learn to cook for three people. Hey, we'll use any excuse we can come up with to take someone out to eat :) Needless to say, I'm full.

Do you have any friends who always seem to be "too busy" to hang out with you? You know the ones. They set dates, sometimes months in advance, planning to come and see you or to stay with you for the weekend, only to cancel those same plans inevitably 3-4 days before you were supposed to meet. These types of "flakey" people piss me off. Because I'm a nice guy, I won't cite any specific names, but seriously, get a life and follow through with a promise every once in a while. I've been busier this past year than I have in my entire life, but I somehow manage to clear my schedule EVERY TIME I make plans with friends or family (and even sometimes when I didn't make the plans).

I really could keep writing about all sorts of stuff, but the four videos which I previously mentioned have robbed me of my sleep this week. So much as to make me fall asleep during "Family Guy" last night - you know I was tired! Good night all.

Note to self: Vent more often. Bottling up this rage towards your snowman-like friend(s) is unhealthy.
