Ronda and I are headed to Coeur D'Alene, Idaho tomorrow afternoon to enjoy a nice relaxing Thanksgiving vacation with my family. We went to the library on Saturday and checked out the "Freakonomics" audio book to listen to during our 12 hours on the road. Should be a good time. Last year we hit a pretty sizable blizzard on the way home - had to stop at a restaurant and wait it out for a while. Hopefully it's smooth driving this year.
It's been a good fall. I've been staying plenty busy doing various video and web design projects - I hate just sitting around doing nothing so I've been happy. Our hens aren't laying yet, which is depressing because I keep reading and hearing about how delicious their eggs are going to be. I'm sure the changing seasons aren't helping much, but their breed is known for reliable laying throughout the winter.
Me thinks I should try to gather my thoughts and post something more meaningful here in a bit.
